The personalization program
For EX NIHILO, Luxury is unique and the art of personalization is at the heart of our vision. So, each of the perfumes from the INITIALE and BABYLONE collections can be personalized, using the highest quality ingredients, sourced from all over the world, such as the absolutes of Iris Pallida, Vanilla Bourbon or Rose Centifolia from Grasse (France).
This allows us to sublimate the fragrance by highlighting one of the existing olfactory facets or by giving a new creative twist to the existing creation.
The Osmologue
The word osmologue is derived from the ancient Greek science of Osmology, the science of scents. This technology is exclusive to EX NIHILO and allows the most accurate weighing and blending of the different ingredients contained in a fragrance. For the very first time, customers will have access to the workshops of creation through an interactive ritual.
Christophe Pillet designed the n°001, a jewel of technology made of polished metal and glass. It is installed in Paris, while the Osmologue compact version is available from a group of very selective international locations.

An exclusive
handmade ritualHigh Technology is a tool to get the best result possible and we defend a “Techno Crafting” philosophy: all the creations are weighed, filtered, bottled and perfected by hand, by one of our experts. The creation will come with a numbered, stamped and signed certificate of authenticity.
A collection of collectible engraved caps made of refined materials such as Mother of Pearl, Onyx and Buffalo Horn are available to turn your glass bottle into a precious object. On demand, the glass can also be personalized with laser engraving of a name, initials, a date, or a simple secret word.

Blue Talisman
Spanish perfumer Jordi Fernández worked on BLUE TALISMAN like a jeweler from Place Vendôme: the result is a languishing, sensual and suave olfactory creation, celebrating the most precious materials with a straight contemporary twist. Parisian craftsmen have carefully designed its cap, so it can transform into an ultimately precious pendant or brooch.
Diamonds are graphically highlighted by a line of sapphires on white gold, contrasting with Tahitian Mother of Pearl and black Onyx.
It comes in a lacquered wooden box with silver moucharabieh. Made by hand and unique au monde, it has been designed exclusively for Harrods Salon de Parfums.
Luxury box
Made With LoveA quintessential collection of personalized and rare fragrances. Originally an exclusive boxset created for Harrods’ Salon de Parfums celebrating the finest know how, it has since been released worldwide in our most exclusive addresses.
It contains a curation of the best creations made with the Osmologue and our special edition fragrances. Each box is made by hand and numbered.
Artists editions & limited products
For collectors, EX NIHILO proposes works of art in ultra limited editions, such as the sublime glass bottles made at the CIAV Meisenthal by the artist Daniela Busarello or the CUIR CELESTE boxset containing a print by photographer Mathieu César.
The House regularly creates special “Collector’s” series with its most prestigious partners to celebrate special moments or exceptional events.

EX NIHILO celebrates the iconic synthetic materials in perfumery: the Musks. Through its unique personalization program, the House offers an exceptional selection of EX NIHILO personalized creations with Musks.
ABOUT MUSKS
Synthetic musks offer a range of different facets and therefore provide perfumers a wide olfactory palette. The notes can be coppery, animalic, powdery, fruity, woody or ambery. They have the particularity to link and harmonize compositions but also to fix volatile fragrances.
White musks are a source of inspiration for a lot of perfumers and illuminate many creations at EX NIHILO.

OUR MUSC CREATIONS
We have selected for you the fragrances that go best with the Musks. This addition subtly dosed by our master perfumers sublimates the perfume by exalting one of its existing olfactory facets or by giving it a new creative inflection.
